2022 Summer Camps
All camps are Horse-Nature-Farming
and they will be a blast!
I like to let kids just be kids in nature.
My camps this year will be mainly outdoors with different activities each day.
We enjoy craft time and lunch in the huge open barn.
Horse/Nature/Farming Camp
The horse part-
Whether your child has riding experience or they are a complete beginner, they will enjoy being around our horse, Tina and our mule Mavis.
Tina, who's a retired race horse, eventing horse and now a lesson horse, has done it all!
Mavis the stubborn yet snuggle-bug of a mule is still learning about lessons but never gets sick of attention.
We will cover horse behavior and safety, basic horsemanship, beginner riding and just having fun with horses. We have an obstacle course in the paddock, a field to ride in and trails right on the property. We keep things very safe and even though there isn't a ton of riding time at camps there's plenty of time to spending loving and spoiling the equines.
The nature part-
Exploring pond life! Adventures in the forest! Tracking wild animals! The New Morning North property is exploding with nature with two ponds on the property, trails through the woods and a beautiful view up top! Depending on the week nature here is always changing. The ponds are exploding with life in June, the gardens are in full swing in July and it's monarch season in August!
The farming part-
We want kids to see that farming feels good! We will work in the gardens, replenish and help with the farm stand and collect eggs from the chickens. Our chickens are very socialized and enjoy playing with the kids. Sometimes the chickens get more attention then the horses. We will also spend time exploring and helping out local farms.

Birthday Parties!
Birthday parties are a blast here and it's pretty affordable for a flat rate of $100 an hour with the horses and $50 an hour using our land. Everyone gets a chance to groom, ride and just hang out with Tina the ex-racehorse and Mavis the mule!
There's a picnic table that can be used for snacks and cake. there is also a very cool treehouse and natural playground right next to the horses. Bring decorations and/or costumes if you would like a special theme. The ideas are endless and even Tina likes to get dressed up!
Birthday parties are usually on weekends between 12 and 3 but can be flexible.
Workshops
These 3 to 4 hour or full day horse and nature workshops are a blast!
Workshops are usually over the summer or on school vacation days.
The workshops are a lot like the camps but smooshed into one or two days. We have non-stop fun with horses and nature
