I offer safe and relaxing lessons starting at the age of 2 1/2 and up. Yes, adults too! My lessons are different from most because we are always outside using the nature around us to learn how to ride. We have a beautiful trail-like course that includes natural obstacles, jumps, hills and mazes through the bushes.
It’s important to me that one learns how to care for horses, not just ride them. Grooming, tacking up and ground work are always included in the lesson. I also teach safety around horses, basic horsemanship and horse care. We finish with a yoga stretch on the horse and you are welcome to bring treats!
Lessons are usually 1 hour long but can be extended. Siblings can share the hour for an extra fee.
